Sullivan is such a great kid. From day one, he has been laid back, compassionate, funny, and imaginative. My boy has a heart of gold and I couldn’t be more proud of him. Every time he says something funny or sweet that I just don’t want to forget, I make a little graphic with his quote. I want to keep those Sullyism’s forever. I think to date my favorite is, “No, thank you. That’s not my cup of tea.” Because, really?! Where did he get that?!

Most recently I have been watching his imagination grow and it makes me so happy. He loves the idea of being on stage and wants to play the piano. He likes to pretend he’s Johnny from the movie “Sing”. No matter what show he is watching, he immediately wants to “be” them. “Daddy, do you want to play Power Rangers?” He then assigns everyone a color ranger, sometimes based on what color you are actually wearing. Because, well, duh. “Mommy, want to play Sing?” Here is where I get to be the “Mommy pig” and I don’t mind so much. “Mommy, can we play (insert obscure cartoon-I-have-no-idea-what he is talking about)?” Sure, honey. Just tell me what to do.

His imagination is so vivid; he can be anything his wants. I just can’t wait for him to want to be a maid or a chef.
